Hi, I’m Kate, the artist behind Dyes Happy. I create hand-dyed, hand-drawn, and digital coastal bohemian patterns for wallpaper, fabric, and home goods. Inspired by nature, art, and architecture, my work blends organic movement with layered color to create designs that feel bold, original, and alive.
Design became more than a job when I was diagnosed with cancer, it became my way to survive. That journey gave me a deeper purpose: to keep bringing beauty into the world and create pieces that feel personal and enduring. That’s where the name Dyes Happy comes from.
Every collection is made to stand out and work beautifully across interiors, fashion, and product design. My wallpaper and fabric are created to help your home or your clients’ projects feel one-of-a-kind, with rich textures, hand-dyed depth, and a coastal bohemian energy that’s both fresh and lasting.
