I’m the designer behind Dyes Happy, formerly known as Kathryn Marie Designs.

Creativity runs in my family—from talented sewers to industrial designers—and it all started for me when my grandmother gifted me a sewing machine at a young age. That spark of inspiration led me to a lifelong love of fabric, dye, and creating designs that bring joy.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Fashion Design at Philadelphia University and began my career working with Lane Bryant Outlet, Catherine’s Outlet, Anthropologie, and Peace Love World.

Today, I’m fully dedicated to dyeing, teaching and creating surface pattern designs for wallpaper, home goods, and fabric. All my designs are available for licensing and for anyone looking to add a touch of creativity to their projects. Let’s make something beautiful together!
